FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question 1. Don't you realize the Gable Film was a hoax?

Answer: The director was well aware that the creators of the Gable Film have acknowledged that it is a hoax. That is precisely why it was used here. Viewers should note the context and the subject of "elaborate hoaxes" being discussed during the sequence featuring the Gable Film. The Gable Film is presented here as an example of such elaborate hoaxes, and is not shown to suggest that the it is authentic footage of a werewolf/dogman. It is only used to show the lengths that some people have gone to in order to create hoaxes, and why such claims should be questioned.

Question 2. How does this video prove the existence of werewolves?

Answer: Please note that the video was not presented to scientifically "prove" the existence of werewolves or any other paranormal creature; rather, is is to highlight the persistence of a very old werewolf legend. That is an important distinction worth emphasizing. As mentioned in the video, the footage and recordings were created from research for an article published by Playboy, and is not meant to "prove" anything paranormal. It simply documents several indisputable facts: a) people believe there is a wolf/doglike creature roaming the Canadian-Vermont border area, b) this legend has been reported since at least the mid 1700s, and c) several people in the region have disappeared without a trace. Those are the only hard facts that are provable. Additional views and opinions presented here are of the people interviewed, and are not intended to represent the director's belief that werewolves are real, but that werewolf legends are real and effect people to this day. For more information on the long history of this legend, a summary and timeline of reports has been prepared and can be found here: http://thehoundofcoldhollow.com/timel...

Question 3. Are the people in these interviews actors?

Answer: No. None of the people in this video are actors and no money changed hands in the production of this video as some commenters have suggested. These are all people from the Cold Hollow and Canadian border area. Question 4. Will there be a follow-up video to this story? Answer: When this video was created there was no plan to create a follow-up video. However, with so many requests asking for more information on the legend, a follow-up may be created later this year (2019). Please subscribe for updates.
